  • Removing Wax Blockage:

    It causes reversible hearing loss. The doctor removes extra wax with a curet or suction. Also, use oil to remove the earwax and flush it out.

  • Surgical Procedures:

    Some types of hearing loss, such as ear infections or bone abnormalities, can be addressed surgically.

  • Hearing Aids:

    If the hearing loss is due to damage to the inner ear and cannot be treated by surgery, then your doctor will advise you to use hearing aids.

  • Cochlear Implant:

    If the hearing loss is severe and a hearing aid does not provide you with much relief, then the doctor will suggest a cochlear implant. A cochlear implant directly stimulates the hearing nerve by bypassing the damaged or non-working parts of the inner ear.
