Addressing The Mental and Emotional Burden of Tinnitus

Tinnitus is a hearing condition which involves constant ringing and buzzing in the ears. Initially, the person suffering from tinnitus may find it distressing to realize they need to accommodate a buzzing in the ear which doesn’t seem to go away. Due to this, they may undergo mental health issues like anxiety and depression.

The exact cause of tinnitus isn't clear to doctors and healthcare providers as of now. However, it is considered that tinnitus is caused as a result of excessive and abnormal brain activity in the part of the brain that processes and interprets sound.

There exists no permanent treatment or cure for tinnitus, but there do exist some simple and effective methods that can offer relief from tinnitus.
